As you know Firmin Landry was deported and exiled to Maryland with his first wife Francoise dit Elizabeth Thibodeau (parents unknown). At the time he was deported he and Francoise had two sons Joseph (my ancestor) and Saturin (who never married). They remained in exile for about 11 years and were enumerated in the 1763 census at Oxford. At the time of the census Francoise had two more children (girls) and she died sometime after the census of 1763. Firmin arrived in louisiana with his 4 children ca 1766-67 and he married Theotiste Thibodeau (your ancestor) widow of Bonaventure Godin. I hope this helps Don don2717@aol.com
