The reply is then sent ro all of the people on the priginal e-mail plus the rootsweb mailing list ACADIAN-CAJUN-L@rootsweb.com in addition I sometimes send out postings to a select mailing list as well as to ACADIAN-CAJUN-L@rootsweb.com and the LANDRY-L@rootsweb.com some people like myself are subscribers to a number of rootsweb mailing lists and get a lot of duplication.
