Hi Folks: The following message is posted for the benefit of "new" members of this LANDRY Mailing List and will be re-posted on an ongoing basis. --------------------------------------------------------------- At the request of many users (whose comments/suggestions were greatly appreciated), I have decided to re-install the "former" Parachat Chat Room on my Acadian Genealogy Homepage, for your convenience. It is located at http://www.acadian.org/chat.html and now provides a choice of font sizes (for those of us with weak eyes! <grin>). The "new" Cajun Chat Network Chat Room (which still does _NOT_ unfortunately accommodate Mac computer users), is still available and may be found at http://www.acadian.org/chat2.html While I continue to encourage Acadian-Cajun cousins to meet any evening at around 7:00 PM (Eastern), it should be noted that both Chat Rooms are open 24 hours/day and may be used at any time convenient to you. Just (privately) send each other an e-mail message and decide what date/time you want to meet. Then, at the pre-arranged time, click on one of the URL address noted above. Note 1. If this is your first time "at the party", you may want to arrive a bit early in order to have the opportunity to check the (simple) instructions on how to join-in, listed on both Chat Room Pages. Note 2. As we all know, Rootsweb Mailing Lists are primarily intended for genealogy-related discussions however, there are times when subscribers might want to discuss a subject matter not quite suitable for the Mailing Lists. Obviously these ACADIAN-CAJUN Chat Rooms are excellent mediums for this purpose. Note 3. You must have your Internet Browser (Netscape, Explorer etc.) java-enabled.
