I had written to the author of this message re my Daniel Landis and perhaps a relative of Henry Landis from Coventry, Chester Co in early 1700's who helped found the Coventry Brethren Church there. I think that there is more than one very thorough book on Landis. My files are still very incomplete, many places I still need to add siblings. Another source has b- 26 Aug 1716. abt 1721 when Ephrata John ³Hannes² was 24, he married Margaret NAAS, in Lancaster, PA. Born on 19 Apr 1707. Margaret died in Akron, Lancaster Co, PA on 22 Sep 1780; she was 73. They had the following children: i. Mary. Born in 1722. 8 ii. This is recorded in the Ephrata book titled "Martyrs Mirir". Is this John Landis Sr.? John married Anna MOHLER, daughter of Ludwig MOHLER (1696-1754) & Anna MOHLER (1698-1772). Born in 1720.
