FWIW: I attended the Baughman Burial Ground Assn. meeting on 10 July. In it a story was told about the cemetery at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church in Bart Twp, Lancaster County, PA. In the 1930s or so ( prior to the pubication of McIlwain's history of the church and gravestone information ) a man was hired to clean up the cemetery which was weedy and in bad shape. He first piled all the stones in a huge heap then de-weeded and mowed. He left without replacing the stones and "the congregation did its best to figure out where they belonged." Bob Ballantyne/PA
