There are a lot of people out there that confuse LANDERS with LANDES. Admittedly, some may have taken the LANDERS name BUT they also continued down through the years with that name. The LANDIS and LANDES is interchangeable. My line is from Pennsylvania to Virginia and then on to Putnam County, Indiana. There are some people who have mistakenly posted information mixing the LANDES and LANDERS names all up and it is really confusing some out there searching! Make sure you have the right connections as it really throws the other people off. Jan
