    3. Stacie, I have been reading about the way some people have been so rude to you. Unfortunately, this problem seems to be troubling most of us who believe in "sharing "our info. I believe that there is a new group out there belonging to the "me generation" who have never learned manners or even care how they treat others as long as they get what they wanted. Even if I can't use the info that someone has sent me, I always acknowledge their Email and thank them for taking the time to contact me. That is only good manners. Several of my other surname cousins and I have started the habit of asking some questions first before we share everything with a new contact. It certainly saves on the postal costs of sending out full trees. For the most part I believe that most people who really care about genealogy are wonderful and share beautifully. Hopefully the boorish ones will get bored and leave us all alone. By the way I am still looking for my g,g,grandfather David Landis b. 1832 m. Sarah b. 1841. Their daughter Ida May Landis b. 1866, m. William Barringer b. 1838. (My line) Other children of David Landis and Sarah were: Ellen b. 1867; Maude b. 1870; Maggie b. 1872; Willie b. 1872; Belle b. 1874; Josephine b. 1876. Maybe there are some new people on the list that might recognize my family. Have a beautiful Christmas everyone.
