What connection to your Landis family is unknown. There are so few Landis entries, I've copied anything on that name that I have found. The 1859 Kansas Territorial census listed one Landis J. P. Landis, in Oskaloosa Twp. Jefferson Co. He came to Kansas in June 1857. There were no entries for Landis in Jefferson Co. census for 1875 of 1885. - ----------------------------------------------- I have a copy of the cemetery records for Douglas Co.
