Good Morning Everyone, I am going to play on your heart strings this morning and am hoping I get a little response...8-) Most of you know about my family history...my mom was given away during the depression (which from what I hear wasn't to uncommon given the circumstances) and I never heard any of the family stories, had the sunday dinner's at Grandma's & pa's, had the holidays, cookouts, reunions,...etc....what I would like now..(and I plan on adding it to the website) is family recipes...along with the stories behind them...I am in a way adopting my cousins out there..and if you think about it aren't we all related? I am making y'all my kin...8-) no really I would love to know everyone's stories,,,they hold alot of meaning and a little insight to each family...I believe that is what my website is missing...the personal touch from everyone else.... I will understand if noone sends me anything...but I really WOULD love to hear from everyone..... (btw...still digging on my great-grandparents..they disappeared after 1910....they were on the Cass co. Mo. 1910 census...) (& will be adding more info this morning to the website....)
