I have just received the Death Certificate for my g,grandmother Ida May Landis/Landes, Barringer with the full names of her parents given. I have been at the brick wall re David Landis b. 1832 who married a woman named Sarah b. 1841. Well Sarah now has a last name and it is Kennedy. So now can anyone out there now connect with me? Do any of you have a Landis/Kennedy connection somewhere in your family tree? It is interesting to note that while g,grandmother Ida May's Death Certificate spells her maiden name Landis, my grandmother, Sarah Ellen Barringer, Jenkins, McCormick's Death Certificate spells the name Landes when referring to her mother Ida May.
