Hello, I am interested in the Rhodes family from the West Riding, who were involved in canal building and other civil engineering work in many different parts of in the U.K. including, I believe, Lancashire. I already have considerable information on Thomas Rhodes (1789-1868), an acolyte of Thomas Telford, and an occasional resident of Liverpool, but at this time I am searching for a lead on his brother William, born at Calverly in 1779.
