Hello, Administration, I have not received mail from this list for several weeks. Is there a problem? Gracie New Zealand

The problem is no one is posting to the list. ;-) LancsLife Listers, remember that in order to get mail one must send mail, so why not tell us about your connections to Lancashire? Messages about Lancashire dialect, slang, and sayings; culture and traditions; history of towns and villages; folklore; poetry and songs; food (chip butties? <g>) and recipes; and nostalgic essays are all welcome! Best wishes, Lynne List Owner PS Any time you have a problem with RootsWeb list mail, follow these steps, no matter to which list you're subscribed: - Check the Help Desk page first <http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/> to see if a problem has been posted (in this case, there is a relevant message). - If that doesn't reveal what the problem may be, check to see if you are still subscribed to the list (see Passwords <http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/>. - If there is no message at the Help Desk and Password Central indicates you are still subscribed to the list, then check your spam/message folders to see if mail is being filed incorrectly. If that's not the problem, contact your ISP. - If all else fails, contact the list admin privately (off list). If there are problems with RootsWeb's servers, remember to use the admin's personal e-mail address (in this case, lklein@mindspring.com and/or rwlist.admin@gmail.com) rather than the RootsWeb address, or your mail won't be delivered.
