Hi June, Lynne explained to me to send as text in Gmail you go to the bottom right hand corner , and there is a drop down arrow, when you hover over this it comes up with More Options, so click on the arrow and then click on plain text mode. I'm not sure of other email systems, but now I know how to do it in Gmail :), just in case you use Gmail. I had tried just removing formatting and that didn't work. Jan > > Thank you Lynne. Jan -- this is so kind of you to pick up on my message. However I don't use Gmail -- all I normally do is use my normal email and either post a message or reply to a message that way. I don't use the Lancsgen Digest either. In the message in question, which caused the problem, I had copied and pasted some information from a website - so it was maybe just that which didn't work properly. I am really grateful to you though for trying to help with it.
