That's excellent, Bill! So glad you found that post useful and you were kind enough to share your success with us! Kindest regards, Lynne Bill LaCoff wrote: I can barely contain myself! I, essentially, gave up genealogy a decade ago because I had no leads left to pursue. Out of BOREDOM, I looked at these photos. On the VERY FIRST PAGE, I found a name from my ancestor's family group: Samuel Almond. I looked at a lot of pages and saw him over and over. I then jumped way ahead and saw another from this same family group: Miles Almond. I believe these two bracket (one older, one younger) my direct ancestor: Peter Almond. So, they are my "uncles." With no birth records for Peter or these two, I made up my mind that the church records must be at the bottom of the Entwistle Reservoir. I know this is only a tidbit of info, with no direction to further info, but I'm glad to have it. Before I get too excited, I have to resolve a question. I believe these pages are from 1832. I seem to have a record of them being in New Jersey a few years earlier. I will have to dig that out of dusty files. It seems impossible that two different Almond families would live in Entwistle at this time and have both a Samuel and a Miles in the family group. So, I'm going to claim them!
