Lancashire Marriage indexes for the years: 1882 Surname - TOOLE Forename(s) - John Surname - WILLIAMS Forename(s) - Jane Church / Register Office - Liverpool, St. Peter Registers At - Liverpool Reference - 2122LP/74/63 This is the same marriage, except GRO Marriages Jun 1882 Surname First name(s) TOOLE John WILLIAMS Jane District - Liverpool Vol 8b Page 216 Can't find them further in the census. I also found a David TOOLE marrying a Mary Ann in 1896 or so, but when I looked in the 1901, they were both from Ireland hth David

All Now the records for St Peter, Liverpool should be on Ancestry but there is a great big hole in the marriages between 1844 and 1907. Certainly if you use the browse function. That is not just one missing but a lot as each book seems to cover a couple of years. Not the first time I have found gaps in big churches in Ancestry and I have found that the quickest way to try and sort it out is to write to the archive that the records came from as I never seem to get an answer from Ancestry.
