Author: ANGELABECKETT1 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.england.lan.general/42515.3.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: This thread just caught my eye because my gt nan was in the cottage homes I searched it and found there are records kept at the Liverpool archives in the new library so I emailed them yesterday and they said they do have the records but they are protected by the data protection act but you can fill in a third party form which will allow a member of staff to search them for info and you will get information like the reason they went in their height weight any minutes of meetings they were mentioned at the weight when discharged ect, however they do charge £15 for half an hour or £25 per hour to find the records but worth thinking about.
