    3. It looks as though there was an estate in the area called Sagers. See: http://www.archive.org/stream/goosnarghpastpre00cookiala/goosnarghpastpre00cookiala_djvu.txtand search for Sager. It suggests the estate owed rent to a local school. There appear to have been people called Sagers living in the area.
