It looks as though Ann 1757 might have married John Pennington 1773 since that marriage was by licence often the indication of minors. Ann 1761 looks to have died in 1769. 1769 Ann looks probably too young to have the child in 1781. It will pay you to look at the microfilm of the original register because Lancashire OPC shows what looks to be a note that the father's name was Spurs in both the 1781 and James 1786 baptisms. Note also that there were 2 Ann Sephton marriages in 1788 so Ann could have married then. It's always worth checking burials and wills for names of interest.
