I got a lot of the dates etc from a GEDCOM file that was sent me (Scwcft.ged) so probably got the wrong information there. DeceasedOnline don't seem to have any SCOWCROFT burials in Bolton in 1853. With being the parish church, it is quite likely it is one of the many graves that were removed - there is a list available. Which William is that?
