Family details I have are as follows: My Grandfather: Thomas Berry, born 1892 in North Bierley, Yorkshire, Married Harriet Bailey, 1938 in Miles Platting, Manchester. Died 1955 in Miles Platting, Manchester, buried in Moston, Manchester. His Parents: Thomas Berry, born 1858 approx, in Ireland. No specific district known. Sarah Jane Berry, nee McConnell, born 1862 in Birkenhead, died in 1916, Astley Bridge, Bolton. His Siblings: John Berry, born 1884 in Salford. I know he had two sons who were twins, named JAMES and JOHN Berry. No details for wife, but they lived in the Sharples and Bromley Cross area of Bolton. My Dad remembers going to visit the family when he was a child. Thomas Berry, born 1888 in Salford, died 1891 in Salford. James Berry, born in 1890 in Dewsbury area of Yorkshire, died in 1957 in Bolton. Last address known was 329 Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, as per probate docs. Married Nellie Leyland in 1919 in Bolton. Married Mary Barnes in 1948 in Bolton. Margaret Berry, born 1896 Low Moor, either Yorkshire or Oldham area. Married Samuel Brown in 1913 in Astley Bridge, Bolton. They had 4 children, Samuel, Margaret Ann, James and Elizabeth Jean. If any of the above strikes a chord with anyone, no matter how small a detail, I would be very interested to hear from you. I have gone as far as I can with this side of the family, especially with the Irish link on my Great Grandfather's family, having no Town or City to look at specifically. Thank You so much for taking the time to read this post, any help would be appreciated. Kind regards, Tom. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
