They had 2 sons, James Stewart LEATHER, born 1919 who was killed in action while serving in the Royal Air Force in WWII and Edward Gilbert LEATHER, born 1924, died 1977. The informant named on Edward's death certificate was Dorothy May Bell of 425, Aigburth Road. Dorothy is described as Edward's aunt yet I can find no trace of her.
