My husband's 2x grandmother was Elizabeth Danson Whittle born 1832 in Wigan her parents being John Whittle and Margaret Danson who married 1831 in Leigh Lancashire. I have been unable to find any info on Margaret Danson and wondered if your Robert was related to the same Danson family.
