Hi Mike, John and Listers, I thank you all for giving me so much enjoyable information and on occasions a good laugh......I may not be researching my crew at present, but I never unsubscribe to this List, too many wonderful stories and kind fellow researchers on board. One never knows when I too may be able to give a helping hand to others. Mike's great help with his old maps allowed me to trace my BARNES just a bit further into the past. Perhaps it is a good opportunity for all those huddled indoors in the Northern Winter at present to renew our Lancashire surname interests once more.
