    3. Hi Mike, John and Listers, I thank you all for giving me so much enjoyable information and on occasions a good laugh......I may not be researching my crew at present, but I never unsubscribe to this List, too many wonderful stories and kind fellow researchers on board. One never knows when I too may be able to give a helping hand to others. Mike's great help with his old maps allowed me to trace my BARNES just a bit further into the past. Perhaps it is a good opportunity for all those huddled indoors in the Northern Winter at present to renew our Lancashire surname interests once more. That's why people should make the effort to stay in touch with our family history group (Rootsweb). I for one have met many lovely people over the years. Love the stories and how they are so willing to help each other or new comers. I learnt a lot of family history research tips moves through the kindness and patience of our list members.  By the way, I do enjoy looking up old locations in the maps I have. It gives me a great pleasure when I can be of help. See what goes around comes around.................... I think that's how they say it :)) Hopefully our favourite List will now start picking up steam.
