Also, Halifax Antiquarian Society may help or Calderdale FHS . Also had a look round myself and found a Thomas Atkinson baptism 21 March 1579, Birstall, St Peter , father Theod. Atkinson on here at Ancestry. Just wondering if this Theodore could be the grandfather of Thomas, Theodore and Robert. I have found Christian names tend to run in families, perhaps this Thomas b. 1579 was the father of the three brothers. Bury is not too far away from Yorkshire...maybe the family originates from there and Robert of Timby went back there after his two brothers went to America?
