Ellis and it is nowhere to be found what it dose says is that Mary Jane Ross married a Joseph ( D'Ellis) so I had a look at the original transcript and it's just plane Joseph, his surname is listed under D not E making his surname Dellis, what dose the marriage certificate say it should give both Mary's full Christian name and Joseph full Christian name, is the D in front of his surname, if so this could have been a mistake when the marriage was registered, on his sons birth certificate dose it say Joseph D, on all the birth certificates i have bought it always gives fathers full Christian names, it could well be that we are looking for just a plane Joseph Ellis Shelagh Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
