My father was Dennis Norman Walker born in Durban, South Africa - 12 November 1924. Son of Dennis Ashburne Walker and Anne Hornby. All I really know about the family is that my Great Grandfather was Sam Walker and that my Great Grandmother was a McBeth. I have no idea when Samuel Walker moved to South Africa but I think it was related to military service - perhaps in the Anglo-Boer War.
