My dad has almost all the birth certificates (apart from the children who didn't live) and they came from originals from the children themselves so I know the birth certificates and name Clarke are correct and the children all said that their dad was a hawker (one of the children was my granddad). Also Angel Street from the 1911 census is correct as the kids all knew this address. We actually went past the old site of the address for my granddads funeral. My dad has searched this for years and years and even went to the registry office in town but they couldn't find anything with those names. It is so frustrating, I would like to do this for my dad. He is getting older now and would love to trace back a bit further of his grandparents. Somebody mentioned they heard coming over on a boat from Ireland to Liverpool but I cant find anything for that either and not sure if it was John and Ellen or their parents. All the children ended up in Buckley hall after the last child was born. The last one I have is eveline who was born in 1925 but not sure if there were any other children who didn't survive just after that. I know there were 2 sets of twins, one set being Ellen and Wilmot but can't find another set. I think I need to win the lottery and hire somebody!!
