I can think of no reason why they would not show up - as all the local records seem to be complete for the period - except that possibly they were Quakers. Where were Quakers married and buried? Were records kept and, if so, where might I find them? Specifically my search is for the family of James Heyes Esq. I found a newspaper snippet that he died in 1820 at Knowsley, but can find no trace of a burial, marriage, birth or anything else in church records. His son was born in 1793 (I know that from the 1841 census) in Knowsley so he was certainly living there then. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
