Hi, I have recently joined the list and am based in North Notts in the UK. I have used ancestry.com to try to find some details on W G KENNEDY but with no success. He appears on the Death Certificate of a James McFarland KENNEDY who died of flu in October 1918 as the person notifying the death. His address is Mere Heath, Manchester Road, Swinton, Manchester. Would I be better seeking help on a Cheshire county web site? Basically what I want to establish is where the Kennedy's originated. I think it was probably in Northern Ireland but they may have spent time in India. I would be grateful for any helpful suggestions. Regards, Rod S.

Rod Does it say W G or does it have the full name. It should also quote the relationship of the person to the one dying. Hi Rod, What details are there on James McFarland Kennedy? Does it note his occupation, residence, age etc? It may be that he can be traced via the census, which would give his place of birth.
