He states his occupation is Turner, though there is nothing that indicates he used this skill to his advantage in Canada. He was educated enough to be a clerk and teacher as well as farmer, not long after settling in Upper Canada. The middle name 'Craig' is consistent wherever his name appears. I've wondered if this was his mother's maiden name. He was likely born about 1790 (England). Anyone with information that may help me in my search of this elusive English ancestor is very much appreciated. Thank you, -Melissa D.
