Hi all The family I am following is that of William James Holmes (b 1888 Kendal,) an engineer and his wife, Winifred Wareing. >From BMD they had the following children: James H 1921 Grace 1922 Florence 1923 Gladys 1925 Margaret 1927 Marion 1930 Peter 1934 David 1936 Frank 1941 I seem to be having trouble finding them later eg death, marriage, and wondering what happened. What would have been the engineering jobs in Haslingden in 1920s to 40s? For an engineer in the 1940s, where should I be looking?
