Hi there I am looking for a little help looking for one of my relatives' CHARLES AXON  DATE OF BIRTH is said to be 1817, Heaton Norris, Lancashire to date I have not been able to find this.  I am trying to find out who his parents were. When he was 64 his occupation was Land & Building Inspector. In the 1880's he bought land at Breck Road, Poulton - his profession was Land & Building Surveyor.  He was married and his wife had a disability, I believe she could not walk easily. I hear he is mentioned in a book called the History of Poulton (I wonder if this book is still available). If anyone knows anything about this family I would be pleased to hear from them.
