Margery's parents were Edmund Thornton (b 27.3.1791 at Bispham) and Elizabeth Bryning (b 28.2.1782 at Poulton le Fylde). Richard Crane's parents were Richard Crane (b about 1771 at Garstang) and Mary Pye (b about 1774 at Thornton). Richard and Margery had children: Elizabeth chr 8.1.1837 at Poulton le Fylde Mary b about 1839 at Poulton le Fylde Jane b about 1842 at Preston Alice b about 1843 at Preston John Bryning b about 1848 at Preston I only know of 2 William Cranes - one born in 1806 at Church Town, Kirkland, Garstang and the other William Helm Crane chr 1874 at Christ Church, Preston.
