I have surfed the net and not found anything in Burnley or Preston or even in Manchester, maybe others have a better knowledge of how to search deeper than I have. Only found one thing that looks good from Queen Street Mill near Burnley queenstmill@lancashire.gov.uk they have 7,000 books, journals & other items for consultation (with prior arrangements) for the public to view. Might be worth a visit if only for the historical side of it. My family go back to the mid 1600's in Burnley and all of them in the mills, let me know what you find.
