Hi Marg, William Albert is with his family in Barrow in 1911. His probate is on Ancestry. I presume that is where you found he had died in Leeds. And I assume that is where you got the name Lind from. It could well be the mother's maiden name, but there again, it might not, unless you have further evidence. But the name does occur several times for this family so it is likely. Linton dies 1966 and his probate is on Ancestry. I haven't looked for the rest. What is it you are looking for and haven't found? Dr William Albert Holmes born 1858 in Kendal Westmorland His wife Margaret Lind and their children in 1901 census in Barrow William J 1889 Linton Lind 1891 Frank 1894 Gladys 1897 Norman 1900 I have looked in census, BMD and Anc but almost no hints. I think that dr Holmes died in Leeds, and wonder if the whole family moved on or if they stayed in Barrow. Be grateful for any pointers about following up this family. regards Marg OLeary Port Stephens NSW
