He married Catherine Shaw and they had Thomas 1888 and my Grandmother Jane in 1896 they also had a baby Catherine in 1898 who died shortly after birth. I am listed here and on Genes Reunited and you can contact me via lyndabriers@btinternet.com as I am sure we have the same William and Catherine. Oddly there are another couple about the same time, place, names and dates which has proved confusing to some. This couple had only three children. (Although William went on to have more) Do feel free to contact me and I can give you anything I have on them. Catherine's mother was Ann Barton whose mother was Margaret Bainbridge and I am desperate to push the mitochondrial line further. With the male line you have the same name all the way back to Adam so I find the female line more interesting.
