Her family emigrated to the United States in 1923 and lived in Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Pearson and Jane SNAILHAM RIDING , who preceded her in death. She married Norman D. KELLEY in 1938 at Park Place Congregational Church in Pawtucket, attended Bryant College in Providence and worked as an accountant throughout her life. She and her husband traveled extensively, sailing on container and passenger ships. During the 1950's and 60's they lived in Princeton, N.J. and she worked for the treasurer of the Princeton Theological Seminary. She was a co-founder, charter member, and the first president of The Woman's Club of Princeton. Following retirement, she and her husband moved to Florida where she was business administrator and treasurer as well as an ordained elder of Southminster Presbyterian Church and later at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She became a resident of Heritage Towers in Doylestown, Pa. in 1995, and was an active resident serving on several committees. She is survived by two sons, Alan and his wife, Caryl, and David; a grandson, Matthew, his wife, Kellie, and their two daughters; and several nieces, nephews and cousins in England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; grandson, Jason; daughter-in-law, Julie; brother, Thomas RIDING; and sister, Edna R. KINCH. The family wishes to thank the Rev. Steven T. CHERRY, executive director of Heritage Towers, for his many kindnesses, the Personal Care staff for their untiring efforts and compassion, and the entire staff at Heritage Towers for their help and guidance over many years. Memorial service and interment in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls, R.I., will be private.
