I am a new subscriber to LANCSGEN but not a new Genealogy researcher as I have been "At it" for 30+ years, mainly on my family researh in Sussex and IOW However my wife Mildred is from the HARGREAVES family who were in Heptonstall, Yorkshire. However oneof her ancesters, an Abraham Hargreaves left that area and moved to Leigh Lancashire, where he was an Headmaster iin a Grammar School. The Yorkshire family found so far shows a Richard at the head bn about 1670 Abraham and his wife Carolina Lawson Haywood had many children there and it is that branch of the HARGREAVES that I am hoping to get some help on.
