    3. Hi David, Well, China Lane runs between Back Piccadilly and Brewer Street with Dale Street crossing it. I see that in 1861 there is an Ann Fisher of the right age, working as a Jack Tenter and living with parents Sam and Frances on Carruthers Street which is a good walk (but not too far) from China Lane and slightly to the northwest. Her father and one of her siblings were born in Yorkshire. Have you followed William Henry forward? His own marriage certificate (if any) may give a father’s name (if he found out). It may even have been Richard. Great Marton (and St. Paul's) is in the Blackpool area.
