I was just saying this on another message board today - there's precedent that if we just wait, it will be included in the normal membership. They did the same thing with the 1901 and 1911 census and the British Newspaper Archive. I will be sitting tight - I don't have much cash but I do have time to wait out the initial credit period of 2-3 years.
