Hi Jacqui In the 1939 NIR there are just two Ethel WATERWORTH born 1903 +/- 1 year Ethel WATERWORTH b1902 Ashton in Makerfield UD Ethel M WATERWORTH b1903 Leigh MB Do you have a birth date for her?     3. Hi Nivard...are you on every list??? Yes, FMP has finally said we subscribers can look at the data as part of our subs in a few weeks!! As their indexing seems rubbish (some people, outside redaction, whom I know where they were are not appearing!!) once get full access I hope to be able to do delving to unravel a couple of my own family mysteries half remembered by me from whispers by my elders!! If nobody has "lost" Ethel, then 1939 is my best hope of sorting her out. There is no second name/initial on her death...but then poor Murdo may not have known of one. Son born, partner dead...and registration services take him to court for perjury in claiming child was "legitimate" and Ethel was his wife. All no doubt circumstances of WW2. Leigh and Ashton are so close geographically, and within "Greater Manchester" now...here's hoping somebody on the list can tell us the life story of one of the two Ethel's even if to rule her out! I live in hope...!!!
