Hi Tony, BMD information usually relates to Civil Registration Certificates and you probably have in mind update announcements from http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/ If that's the case then the announcements will refer to newly transcribed infomation added to that website, which is the only one giving details from the Local Register Offoces (LROs). General Register Office (GRO) information is available from other websites including http://www.freebmd.org.uk/, You should be aware that GRO certificates are copies taken from the LRO originals and as such have an increased incidence of errors and omissions.
