This query has moved on since I posted the message below. (It didn't appear on the Board so I wrote directly to Wendy, the original person with the query). The child Annie Josephine b 1880 - her baptism and her parents marriage is amongst the Liverpool Catholic records on Ancestry - her father was a William Short -- so unfortunately it isn't the correct birth.
