    3. Yes the problem being they dropped the price to an affordable £1.50 ;-) The quoted message is still :- "You will get a message when copies of the wills you have ordered are ready to download. This should happen within 10 working days from order." The crucial word is "should" I don't think you will have much longer to wait I just feel sorry for the staff there Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 31/08/2019 08:43, Meg@Taylor.it wrote: > I’m in the same situation so there is clearly a problem. 3. Hi Robin I ordered seven wills on the day it was reduced in price The first, a 2016 will came in two days Two arrived one day earlier than estimated One three days later than estimated One was eight days later than estimated One twenty days later than estimated One still outstanding just over three weeks later than estimated But they have been on my wish list for years, so a little longer won't hurt me I will not order more until the backlog has been cleared So have some patience they are ploughing through what must have been a mountain of orders Many researchers have held back ordering wills at £10 so when they dropped the price to an affordable £1.50 many people ordered those they had wished for, for a long time In my experience taking payment at point or order is common practice, I can't think of anything you don't pay for at point of order If you paid on the 26th July there would already have been a huge number of orders placed before yours Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 31/08/2019 06:23, Robin Mcleod wrote: > I ordered in July and was told it would take 10 working days, now it is the end of August and nothing has arrived. The money was taken from my account on the 26 July.I understand there could have been a rush on the Probates, but I thought the ones that had got in early would have had them by now.

    3. Hi, Folks, I have received the 'New Data' below from John Marsden. It may be useful to note - Radcliffe, St Mary is the ancient Parish Church of Radcliffe. It has been sometimes known as St Mary & St Bartholomew. Radcliffe, St Thomas and St John The parish of St John the Evangelist was a separate parish in the Pilkington township, south of the River Irwell on New Road, until it was merged with the parish of St Thomas (Blackburn Street) ca 1973. The entries in LanBMD for Radcliffe, St Thomas and St John prior to 1973 will be for marriages in the parish of St Thomas. The parish of St John had its own marriage register to the time of the merger and LanOPC has them transcribed for 1868 - 1930. LanOPC has the marriage register of St Thomas transcribed from 1849 - 1930. Hope this helps someone, Jim Lancaster (Bury, Lancs.) New data has been added at www.lancashirebmd.org.uk as follows: Added 2,222 Marriages for Bury RD comprising: Radcliffe, St.Mary (1981-2008) Radcliffe, St.Thomas & St.John (1980-1998) Ramsbottom, St.Paul (1981-2010) Stand, All Saints (1978-2007) Tottington, St.Ann (1981-2013) Walshaw, Christ Church (1988-2010) Thanks are due to Tony Foster and his team.
