The names I have are: Margaret McGana, I have seen this as McCann, McKenna and a few other versions, of 6 Harding Street. Her father is listed as Toal McGana a laborer. Patrick O'Brien, listed as living at 8 Harding Street. His father is shown as William O'Brien a laborer. Both are listed a 'full age'. The date on the cert is August 27, 1843 so I am hoping they were there our there parents were there in 1841. Thank you again. Author: RODUNFORD58 Surnames: dunford Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.england.lan.general/52544/mb.ashx Message Board Post: could not find the following marraige date ,martha.s maiden name ,but thought if i could find out where they lived this would help, which i have ,john and martha lived with there five children at ryans place .naylor street .liverpool from 1812 to 1827(source gores dirctory 1827)we all know john dunford was a carter .so being owned a horse and cart.in ryans place naylor street he had a stable, in the 1830s john dunford and his family all moved to titchfield street ,liverpool, in the 12 august 1837 john dunford of titchfied street,died of fever,his son john dunford paid for the funeral,(source st anthonys burial records)the following entry might be relevant to his family this is from gores dirctory of liverpool 1827,dunford john cart owner of ryan place ,naylor street liverpool.burial of john dunford the father of john dunford paying for burial his address titchfield street liverpool, so in 1837 john dunford born 1812 was living with alm,ost all of his family at titchfield street liverpool,father john dunford still owned a property in ryan place,naylor street for his stable, one month earlier 10 july 1837 thomas dunford son born 1815 carter of bevington street liverpool,married sarah williams at st peters church ,john dunford senior was at the weddding two year later,william dunford born 1818 carter of bevington street married ellen carroll, now if we could find john and martha dunford wedding ,wouldn't this be great way to finish off this story ,there must be away,can you help,hoping this starts up something to be able to find out more. Their GRO marriage cert shows that they were from 6 Harding Street in West Derby and 8 Harding Street in West Derby. The only problem is I don't find it but I do find Harding Close in Merseyside. Are they the same? There is currently what looks like a multi family set of possibly apartment there. My GGGrandparents were married ion 1843 so it might have changed.
