    3. Hello Everyone - I've come across a reference to this church, and have assumed it is in St. Helens (although it could also be Borehamwood). I can't seem to find anything to confirm that there is/was a St. Mark's in Cowley Hill, St. Helens, so am hoping someone with local knowledge can assist. Thanks, Doug in Southport.

Author: adrian_bruce Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.england.lan.general/52612.2.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: "on the same day there is a record of an Ann Cooper and a James Meadowcroft that has the mark (X) of a James Cooper". With respect, Cooper is a common name, and there is no reason to believe that because two people named Cooper marry in the same church on the same day, that they are siblings. They may very well turn out to be related, but I suggest you'll be hampering your own search if you start out looking for links to Ann or James. Better just to look for some evidence of Jonathan without imposing ideas on yourself. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
