My father, Louis Dodd, was born and raised in Natchitoches Parish. Most of his life he lived in Kisatchie, with his Granny Beasley. One of his great-uncles was married to Parilee Alto Whatley who was the daughter of Sampson Whatley. I have limited information on the Whatley's, but will share what I have on the descendants. I am going to be in Natchitoches/Kisatchie/Provencal in April, and hope to get more information. I plan to visit the Beasley/Boswell Cemetery and will record as much as I can for the archives and Natchitoches Parish page. Carolyn Dodd Cade
