Hi all, Hope this finds all well and happy. I'm sending this out to our two list (Natchitoches & Grant) to & say WELCOME to the new members that we have gotton this week & give everyone else an update. Gaytha will be in this afternoon from the "Bayou State" with loads of info. It seems that she got several of our friends fired up into helping as well as "Diggin" for thier own relatives. They are all over both Natchioches & Grant Parish & with her she might have caught some in between. They will be hitting the cemt & libaries often getting articles & anything else they can lay their hands on. They will either send it to us or type it up themselves. She didn't go much into detail with me on what all she had & I'm sure by tom you will be hearing from the horses mouth herself, so to speak. I do know that she found a find in Natchitoches. It's the 1903 paper with tidbets from the surrounding communites like Campti, Goldona, Provencal, Oak Grove, and all the others. But Grant Parish do not worry. She hit those papers too & several cemt there. Like I said we have more coming. Everyone, we are excited about this and we will start typing right away and get this up to everyone. Also remember if you miss anything, momma is going to start next week archiveing all the messages that come across the list so all you have to do is go to the site and access it all. I do have one request. Please forgive me but someone asked for the location of the Puckett or Pluncett Plantation. Could that person please email me??? I have news for you.
