Here's info on my Carroll family: I don't have any information on WILLIAM CARROLL except that he was a prominent planter. His daughter Caroline states on the 1880 census that he was born in Virginia. He married SARAH (SHERIDAN) QUINN. He must have died before 1850 because he is not listed on the 1850 Natchitoches Parish Census - Sarah is listed as SALLY CARROLL. SARAH was born in Kentucky. Her first husband MICHAEL QUINN was born in Ireland and they were married in 1818. Their children were: MARY ANN QUINN married _____SWEATMAN CHARLES QUINN married ELIZABETH ______ who was married first to JOHN MC GARRAHAN SARAH QUINN married WILLIAM SMITH **************************************************************************** *********************** SARAH SHERIDAN'S children with WILLIAM CARROLL were: MADISON CARROLL married ELIZABETH BOLAND CAROLINE CARROLL married 1st DR.
