Hi! My name is Gaytha Thompson and I am the list owner for the Natchitoches Parish Mailing List. My daughter, Kay, is maintaining the mailing list as I also maintain the Archvies for Grant, Rapides, Sabine and Natchitoches Parish. As of today there are 38 signed on to this list. I started the list in hopes that it would help in researching our families in Natchitoches Parish. I live in Nashville, TN and know how hard it is to try to do research from such a far distance. I have lived here for 11 years but my husband and I lived in Natchtioches and raised our children there. Our home is in Tn, but my heart is still in Natchitoches!!!! I also wanted to let everyone know that I just updated the Natchitoches Archives yesterday and today. I have uploaded the 1810 census and am working on trying to get the 1820 census transcribed to upload.
